北京生，但不是北京人,籍贯苏州，老爸自上海来。

北京长大，蓟门桥，紫竹院，德外，安贞桥，搬来搬去，只是从未住过城里，也从未住过平房。

北京航空航天大学本科毕业，在中航技工作十年，曾经常驻巴基斯坦，法国高等航空航天学院硕士一枚，现在康奈尔攻读MBA，2019年毕业。

Hi, my name is Weiyi SHI and I’m a Chinese and currently an MBA candidate at the Cornell University, SC Johnson College of Business in Ithaca, upstate New York, USA.

I have a mastere degree from Institut Supérieur de l’Aéronautique et de l’Espace in Toulouse, France, and a bachelor degree from Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics

Born in Beijing, China but not a Beijingese. Ancestral home in Suzhou/Soochow and my father is from Shanghai. I’m speaking a standard Mandarin but with a bit of Beijing accent which makes my parent feeling sorry for me a lot…lol… They think it’s going to be more decent for me to remove that bit Beijing accent… (I agree.)

Growing up in Beijing, having moved between north, and west city but never lived within 2nd Ring which was defined as real city centre nor I lived in a cottage.

I like aviation and particular civil aviation, reading is always a long time practice for me. This website was created on 29th September 2010 as a replacement of my previous MSN Space which was terminated by Microsoft in early 2011. The blog has long recorded my story, my feeling, my experience and everything I would like to share with you.

The very first post may date back to the year 2005 when I was still a student at Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics. I was trying to keep my pace to regularly post my blog but clearly failed to do that in this social networking bombing era.
