WE ARE ALL BEHIND YOU, ALAN

It’s really a horrible injury for Alan Smith after he was confirmed to have broken his leg and dislocated his ankle.
After the one goal defeat by our fierce rival Liverpool, I actually didn’t much care about it means that the Carling Cup will be the only trophy we could earn in this season, while this defeat also ends a 85 years unbeaten to Liverpool in FA Cup matches. But it is Smith’s injury that I really concern about which may let him be sidelined for a very long time.

Since his arrival from relegated Leeds United in summer of 2004, he is one of my favourite among the new generation of Red Devils. Frankly speaking, I’m not quite pleased with the way the youths played game, after the retirement or departure of great players such like Bruce, Robson, Ince, Cantona and Keane, as well as Gary Neville has aged up, the young lads of Red Devils no longer play the game like their senior, which I means they lack of their passion, hot blood and some of their fierce disposition.

Football is always not like the way that Arsenal plays so, it’s a physical challenge of men, as well as mind and spirit. You put your pressure on your opponent, not only you keeping attacking, but also you have to shouting and howling at your competitor, you keeping tackling on them, you make them fear of keep the ball around, you force them to kick the ball into sky. Yes, it is. You not only attacking the goal, but also you should attacking the opponent’s body, attacking their mind and spirit, you making them scare, letting them think that they will definitely lose to you. This is the exactly way the football is played like.

Smithy is the exactly this kind of player that really understand how to play football. His goal against Fulham last season can be a trademark of how he plays the ball, his shoot was blocked by Fulham’s defender, but Smith ran to catch up and then made a tackle on him to get the ball back and shoot and scored a goal. You see defender tackles forward frequently, you see midfielders combat with each other in midfield quite often, but you may seldom see a striker tackle a defender in defender’s penalty area and then score a goal! It the way Smithy plays football. Keep tackling, keep fighting and keep forwarding.

Luckily, with Rooney stands next to Smith, we could see the bright future of rebuilding another United that full of hot blood players. They are full of passion, they love United and they want to win as many as trophies with United. When they are strong enough, with both strong body and strong mind, combining the experiences which they used to lack of, we will have a brand new United that as strong as we were in 1990s, and we will again crash everybody.

The injury will make Smith sidelined for months, as he may misses World Cup. But definitely he will bounce back!

As Sir Alex said after the match, "The best we can make of the situation is to try and win the Carling Cup for him next week."

I KNOW YOU ARE ALWAYS OUR ALAN NEVER GIVE UP SMITH!
ALL THE BEST AND WE ARE ALL WAITING FOR YOU TO COME BACK!

God bless Alan Smith, and God bless United!
